We recommend a good rope with a diameter of 6 mm or more, so that the rope not does not carve into the knob (see ropes).
knot a: Connection knot at the knob of the hammock: PLEASE use this knot TWICE and tighten the ropes individually! This knot is also easy to open! knot b: Connection knot for TESTING purposes! Using this knot don´t lay down in the hammock! knot c: One type of a connection knot rope - rope knot d: Set the rope twice around a suitable branch or trunk and make sure that the rope intersects there. So slipping is avoided. It is useful to protect the rope against abrasion, e.g. you can put the rope into a hosepipe on the places where the rope may be abrased by the bark or other edged materials.
