Distances
The distance between the two assembly points should be at least 2.7 meters for hammocks in L - large) and or 2.9 meters for hammocks in XL.
The Height of the hanging
Ideal is the hanging of at least 1,80 m (for a small distance) up to 2.5 m or more in greater distance between the assembly points. The lowest point of your hammock should be ca. 30 cm above the ground. However please consider that a new or washed hammock will still expand!
There are some tricks for hammocks stands that are not sufficiently high or long: the hammock can be shortened by a knot close to the knob - but the knot should be made around a round short stick so that it can be opened easily.
